CO2 Calculation

This tool will enable you to easily discover at what level you will need to set your flow rate at for a given inject time, target CO2 level and room size.  We recommend you use our HydroGarden Commander CO2 Kit for best results.  Add a Compugas unit for even more serious CO2 control.

1- Enter the target level of CO2 you require.  We recommend a maximum of 1400ppm, start with a lower level in the first instance.

2- Enter the length, width and height of your grow room in metres.

3- Enter the switch time if using a manual segment timer, or insert the time recommended by the Compugas unit if you have one.  The result will advise you as to what flow rate in litres per minute you need to obtain the target level set in step 1.

Buy a Compugas for easy control of your CO2, its unique features will ensure that CO2 is NOT dosed when the grow lights are switched off.

Warning: Carbon Dioxide is an asphyxient, do not enter the room unless you are sure CO2 levels are low enough to be safe.
