FAQs:
Q: This pump is submersible. Can I use it out or the water, in a hose line?
A: Yes, the SICCE Syncra ADV 7.0 can be used inline. But the pump is not self-priming and should not be run dry, so we recommend that it is positioned below the level of the water surface.

Q: I intend to use the pump submersed. Is the power lead waterproof?
A: Yes, the power lead is fully waterproof. However, when using the pump submersed, you must ensure that moisture cannot track along the power lead and reach the power socket. To avoid this, either:

  1. Ensure that the power socket is always above the level of the water surface.
  1. If the power socket is lower than the water surface, ensure that the power lead is arranged with a “drip-loop”, so that a portion of the lead is significantly lower than the power socket and any moisture will drip from the lead before reaching the socket.
