Description
A homogeneous stone wool product is essential for unrestricted and regular root growth. Cultiwool stonewool, produced in Europe, is the highest quality in the market for hydroponic systems. It is certified by RHP and offers maximum uniformity to optimally control water and nutrient application. The result is a uniform crop with higher yields, better quality, and less energy usage.
Reliable initial saturation is key to avoid dry spots in the substrate. Dry spots will create salt build up which results in an unbalanced block and should always be avoided. Cultiwool substrates take up water faster and easier due to their high quality.
Cultiwool 200mm (8”) Cubes have no planting hole in the top, or cross-grooves for water circulation in the bottom. The plain cube is intended to be used as a base for smaller cubes, to allow further development of a plant’s root system. The cubes have an effective air-to-water ratio and a reliable homogeneity with great strength and dimensional stability for excellent (re)saturation and controllability which ensure uniform rooting. The Cube’s good dry-back qualities enable you to steer the crop generatively in dark periods using little water, but it is easy to re-saturate when needed. This media is inert and pathogen free. Ideal for large plants throughout the growing cycle, both vegetative and generative.
