Description
The LUMii 6+2 Socket Enviro Contactor Timer is an ideal means to control HID lighting and heating in your growing environment through the 24-hour diurnal cycle. The world leading Grässlin timer allows on/off times to be set with precision in 15-minute gradations. The heavy-duty contactor will power four sockets for HID lamps and one (switched) for a heater, without the load causing harm to the timer, such that when the lights are on, the heater is off, and vice versa. A sixth, untimed utility socket, controlled by its own switch, can be used for any other electrical application.

FAQs:  
Q: Why is the output capacity of the Contactor Timer limited to 13 Amps each side of the timer dial? 
A: The Contactor Timer has two 13Amp plugs to connect to the mains. One of these provides power to the four output sockets positioned to the left of the timer dial, and the other provides power to the four output sockets to the right. 
At the LH side, the Heater “H” Socket is only powered when the three Lighting “B” Sockets are not powered. Thus the heater socket has a maximum capacity of 13 Amps, and the three Lighting sockets share a maximum capacity of 13 Amps. 
At the RH side, all four sockets can be powered at once when the Utility “U” socket is switched on. Thus the total capacity of 13 amps must be shared. The capacity of the Utility socket depends upon the power being drawn by the two Lighting sockets. Please refer to the table above. NB if the Lighting sockets are drawing 13 amps, the Utility socket should not be used to avoid overload.
